Business Forum & Expo Theme: “Connect to the Business World and Grow."

We are seeking dynamic, engaging, and knowledgeable presenters for the 2020 Annual Global Youth Business Forum & Expo


The primary conference audience consists of multiple levels of Youth Entrepreneurs, Business Owners, Youth Start-ups, and those who want to grow their businesses. Entrepreneurs and educators will also be in attendance. Workshop content and instruction should be geared to a level that is appropriate for the target audience.

The Youth Workshop audience will include Advanced, middle and high school students. Your presentation’s objective is to enhance the students' capacity to explore and utilize emerging . The presentation should also inspire and empower these future professionals to embrace and effectively share with the youth business opportunities and enterprise development services they can use in their academic and professional careers.  


Proposals are solicited for 60-minute – 120 minutes presentations that are hands on, interactive, creative, dynamic, and feature best practices in Business Entrepreneurship. The presentation timeframe will include introductions, presentation material, question and answer session, and evaluation. Attendees should leave with specific knowledge and skills about various aspects of the topic and how it relates to their future development. Presentations should provide attendees with educational value and refrain from promoting a specific business, product, or service.

  • Be your own boss, Discover your Talent
  • Growing your Business and quick steps to access funding for your business
  • Marketing your business on a shoe-string budget
  • What to do and what not to do when starting a business
  • Become the rainmaker in your business
  • Social media marketing and it’s role in business growth & business networking
  • Cash is king – the importance of cash flow


If you have an industry topic that is leading edge and within the areas of focus but is not on the list above, we encourage you to submit your idea for special consideration.

Submission Requirements & Specifications

 A complete workshop slide deck will is required immediately upon your acceptance as a presenter.

All submitters will be notified of acceptance, regret or wait listed by 03/30/2020  Presenters are encouraged to upload a photograph and a bio at the time abstracts are submitted. Bios are limited to a maximum of 150 words. The goal of the presenter bio is to provide us with a high-level view of your career and your major accomplishments. Photographs and presenter bios will be included in our marketing materials.

Bio Guidelines 

  • Full name, current job title and organization’s name
  • Description of your role in the organization and the products/services it provides
  • Highlights from your career as it relates to your current position
  • Key civic activities and personal interests
  • Degrees, certifications, awards, honors and authored publications

Submitting the Full Presentation 

PowerPoint Presentations should be submitted to   The reference line should read "2020 GYBF Presentation (Your Name)”: 

  • Full Presentations should be submitted no later than 03/25/2020
  • Presentations should be savedwith the following naming Global Youth: Current Year, Underscore, Workshop Title, Underscore, First Initial and Last Name. 

Presentations that do not meet the aforementioned requirements or the submission deadline will be automatically wait-listed. 


As a presenter for the 2020 Annual Global Youth Business Forum & Exhibition your Business Forum registration is complimentary. The registration includes access to all workshops and seminars, plenary sessions and the Exhibition. Conference registration fees are not waived for co-presenters. 

Additional benefits include access to the GYBF discounted room rates. GYBF  EXPO 2020 will pay presenters a honorarium or speaker fee depending on the topic presented. Presenters are responsible for their own travel and lodging expenses unless otherwise GYBF EXPO receives a request in time to assist in covering the costs.

A variety of workshop presentation formats are desirable at the Business Forum and may include lecture format, panel presentation, or roundtable discussions. Handouts may be appropriate, depending on the complexity of the topic. Presenters are responsible for providing copies of workshop handouts and any equipment that will be used during presentation this includes laptops or iPads.
